Welcome to ECDL 2010

The European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries (ECDL) is the leading European scientific forum on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues, bringing together researchers, developers, content providers and users in the field. ECDL 2010, the 14th conference in this series, will be organised by the University of Glasgow.

Short Papers

Besides regular papers (up to 12 pages), also short papers (up to 8 pages) can be submitted to ECDL. See also our Call for Research Papers. Submission will open soon.

Details on how to submit proposals for the ECDL workshops, panels and tutorials have been added. Please note that the deadline for those submissions is 31st January 2010.

Authors are invited to submit research papers describing original, unpublished research that is not (and will not be) simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere. The list of topics for research papers was updated recently:

Best research papers up for Special Issue of IJDL

The authors of the best research papers will be invited to submit substantially extended versions of their paper for publication in a Special Issue of the International Journal on Digital Libraries (Springer).
